My Bathroom is {almost} Done!

I’m happy to report that my bathroom renovation is done. I only have a handful of things to finish up and those are all considered “detail items” - towel bars, touch-up painting, mirrors, etc. The water is on and I no longer have to use my son’s bathroom, so I consider that done!

Overall the project went pretty smooth, but that was due to my diligent planning and making sure all the materials were ordered in a timely manner. There are a few things I would do different and I will share more about that in another post.

For all my remodeling projects, I like to follow a 12-step design process. I’ve finished the first 11 and all of those are listed in my free bathroom guide. In a previous blog post, I outlined by initial budget of $25,000 and gave you a video tour of how my bathroom looked before we began demo. I did end up going over budget, but not more than the 10% “buffer” I was prepared for.

Here are a few photos of the progress…

I promise to share the FINAL photos and budget numbers soon, but I am so happy with how everything turned out. I use my new tub almost every night and I will never regret my decision to go with wallpaper.

Are you considering a bathroom remodel this year? Then, please sign up to be a part of my email list. We have some BIG NEWS coming soon and I promise you’ll like it. I have been working on a great way to share the good, the bad and the ugly about my remodeling project - which will save you time and money on yours! Managing your own project isn’t as hard as you think, but you need to be organized and I can teach you how.

Thanks for Reading!
