What We Did in 2023

I love looking back on the previous year and remembering how much we accomplished. I’m so proud of what we were able to provide our clients, who trusted us completely with their projects. We installed 27 rooms of furniture, designed 7 kitchens, 13 bathrooms, picked out so many paint colors and consulted with lots of people via Zoom using my virtual option. Whew!

January started with a little office makeover at Jennifer Taylor Design. Our sample storage got a serious upgrade with custom cabinetry. The beginning of the year is normally a slower time for us, so we used these weeks to get ourselves ready for the busy year ahead. Having all of our samples organized has been a game changer for me!

In March, we had a photo shoot that I’m super proud of. This was the third project we did for these clients and it turned out great. I encourage you to check out this blog post so you can truly appreciate the transformation of this dining room and home office/wine lounge.

In April I took my annual trip to High Point, North Carolina to attend the furnishings market. Being able to see, touch and sit on items I source for projects is so important. Everything pictured here was ordered and used for projects we installed later in the year.

May brought the conclusion to a very large project we had been working on for over a year. My clients remodeled their kitchen, breakfast room, laundry room, as well as the master bathroom. We also furnished the family room and the before/after is pretty dramatic. If you want to see more, check out this blog post.

July was filled with design presentations for lots of furniture projects. Our clients love these meetings as they get to see their new spaces come to life. We show them furniture plans, fabrics and slides filled with all of our ideas.

In September I kicked off a large project where we were hired to design a new kitchen and two bathrooms. With the new kitchen brought a pantry that I would LOVE to have. Watch this rendering (which we do for all our full-service projects) of their new design. I can’t wait to see this one come to life!

We took a break from furniture projects and began working on lots of new kitchens in October. I truly love designing kitchens and bathrooms. Showing my clients how much potential their spaces have is so rewarding.

Finally, December was the month of furniture installations for all the projects we started over the summer. We gave three families (and one office) brand new rooms, just in time for Christmas. More professional looking photos coming soon!

Would you like to be on our calendar for 2024? I’d love to talk to you about your project. We are currently booking new clients to start in February so please reach out today to begin the design journey to a brand new space!

Thank you for Reading!
Jennifer
